She's baaahhhhccckkkk!

After waiting for what seemed like FOREVER, Aunt Flo finally showed up yesterday and with a vengeance. I never thought that I'd be this excited to get my period! I almost (ha) forgot what it was like...until the massive cramps visited me today while I was at work. The doctor told me that it would be about 4-6 weeks before I could expect to have one again after the procedure, so I was starting to get impatient after the 5-week mark rolled around.

Anyhow, Why am I so excited? Because this means that we can start trying again! Woo Hoo! I don't want to be one of those fanatical women who chart every little thing and turn into a drill Sargent with their husbands, but I must admit that I felt real joy today knowing that just around the corner is the possibility for another "Little Sweet Potato".

The last month has been so weird coming to grip with things and almost breaking into tears each time I see a newborn so I'm really excited at the prospect of God potentially giving Koa and I another baby very soon. But, as I've been learning I have to be patient with this and all things.

I heard a good "joke" the other day that I try to remind myself of whenever I think that I'm in control of things. "Want to make God laugh? Tell him your plans." Hilarious, yet so true.

So we'll see. I don't want to get too excited, but it's hard to resist :)

Saturday in the Park...

This Saturday after FINALLY having a break in the rain, we checked out a park in Kirkland that runs along Lake Washington. There are boardwalks that allow you to walk out over the walk that were pretty cool. Here's a few pictures:

The cutest pups in the park: (they were not as excited about the boardwalks!)

The best husband in the park:

"No really, I'm not cold!"

"Oh wait..." Damn bulky winter jackets!
